Why This Site Exists
Jonesboro is the Western District seat of Craighead County, so many local records run through county offices in the city. The Craighead Circuit Clerk and Recorder handles court clerk work and records deeds, mortgages, liens, plats, and related instruments. The Craighead County Clerk handles marriage licenses, probate and county clerk functions, incorporated-firm records, and voter registration duties. City of Jonesboro records use the municipal FOIA process, and older people-search clues often live at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library.
We built this site to point readers toward those official sources without implying that one search box contains every record. Some records are online, some require the clerk, and some are restricted under Arkansas law.
